Central Fish market

The City of Bergen, renowned for its historic inner harbor and waterfront, sought proposals for a new permanent sheltered facility to enhance the renowned seafood market. The design envisions a simple yet striking sheltering steel structure with a flexible column grid. The distinctive undulated roof, serving as the building's main architectural feature, reflects the maritime heritage of the area. Both subtle and evocative, this design element aims to strengthen the place's identity, providing a top-class customer experience and contributing to the area as an exciting architectural landmark.
