The upcoming western line of the Oslo metropolitan area subway, connecting downtown Oslo to Fornebu, will feature seven stations and serve over 70,000 people daily. The competition focused on designing a subway station with a platform area and two above-ground structures for entrances. The primary emphasis was on creating a distinctive architectural feature for the main entrance, intending to enhance and enrich the user's spatial experience of transit. The design aimed to strike a balance between uniqueness, functionality, and seamless usability.
