Rustad Elementary School

The project emerged from a comprehensive two-year dialogue process and numerous design charrettes. It entails a contemporary school facility accommodating 800 pupils, featuring a fully equipped gymnastics hall and a dedicated department for special learning. The building is centered around a generous atrium, serving as a venue for the school's major social events. Reflecting Nordic values of prudence, simplicity, and openness, the architecture showcases an extensive use of timber in both interiors and facades.
