NQC Lugano - Transit hub

The project aims to be a visionary architectural landmark, serving as a captivating entrance to Lugano. It is envisioned to bring a modern and dynamic element to the city, seamlessly integrating with Lugano's rich historical fabric.

Situated in the B1A Section, this development spans 65,000m2 and encompasses a diverse mix of functionalities, including a hotel, retail spaces, high-end apartments, exhibition areas, and administrative offices. This mixed-use approach is designed to contribute to the vibrant urban dynamics of Lugano.

Located in the North East of the city, the project is a key component of the larger masterplan for the New Cornaredo district. Its strategic position at the crossroads of major infrastructural pathways positions it as a focal point for the flow of activity into Lugano.

The architectural ensemble comprises three ascending cylindrical towers and a lower triangular structure. Notably, the design of the taller towers follows an Eastward descending height gradient, adding a dynamic visual element to the skyline. The project, with its innovative design and varied functionalities, aspires to enhance Lugano's cityscape and provide a contemporary addition to its urban identity.
