A masterplan study aims to revitalise the abandoned marina area of Western Oslo, transforming Bestumkilen into a thriving waterfront development. Positioned at a unique juncture in the city, flanked by high-end residential developments, a royal yacht marina, and a sizeable city park, Bestumkilen stands as one of the last premier coastal spots.

Tasked by the client to envision the future development, the emphasis lies on introducing a public domain enriched with leisure and recreation programs. At the heart of the design concept is the establishment of a large high-school campus and a municipal swimming pool, serving as key elements to rejuvenate and redefine the area.
